Xiao Ma (any/all pronouns) — who also goes by Smile, as “Xiao” in mandarin means “Smile” — is a 4th term sophomore in Bennington studying literature and visual arts. Their understanding of love is what led them to create art. Photography is their favorite medium so far. Their work has been geared toward capturing Autumn, while focusing on moments created by time, space, and what occupies the space. By capturing people, surroundings, and Autumn, they are hoping to capture moments alongside time and space.
